St. Cyril Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at raising the awareness of Orthodox Christian teachings through Patristic living, research and education.

Our mission is to establish a community of Orthodox Christian Theological fellowship whereby prospective and current young servants, scholars and missionaries can utilize various resources for spiritual growth and leadership development in present or future Christian ministry through affordable and attainable education.

In 2013, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope and Patriarch of the great city of Alexandria and the See of St. Mark was presented with the mission and vision of St. Cyril of Alexandria Orthodox Christian Society. His Holiness inquired about the activities offered by the Society and encouraged and granted his blessings for the activities offered by the Society. Subsequently, the Society updates His Holiness of all activities on yearly basis.

In 2014, His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II Karim, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and the Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church was presented with the mission and vision of St. Cyril of Alexandria Orthodox Christian Society. His Holiness discussed the various activities offered by the Society and granted his blessings and support for the Society.

Publish With Us

We welcome book proposals. A complete proposal submission must consist of the following:

1. Your Academic Resume.
2. One sample chapter.
3. For dissertations only: a letter from your dissertation advisor (or examiners) recommending your work for publication.

Saint Cyril of Alexandria Orthodox Christian Society (SCS) is delighted to announce its academic partnership with the Alexandria School Journal (ASJ) published by The Monastery of St. Mary – Baramos and St. George Coptic Orthodox Church (Sporting), Alexandria, Egypt. The ASJ (ISSN: 1687-9902) is an Arabic academic periodical published twice a year. SCS will start publishing the ASJ in its new English edition once a year in September. The English edition of ASJ will follow formal academic guidelines in accordance with modern standards and practices of American academic institutions.
