St. Cyril Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at raising the awareness of Orthodox Christian teachings through Patristic living, research and education.

Our mission is to establish a community of Orthodox Christian Theological fellowship whereby prospective and current young servants, scholars and missionaries can utilize various resources for spiritual growth and leadership development in present or future Christian ministry through affordable and attainable education.

Publish With Us

We welcome book proposals. A complete proposal submission must consist of the following:

1. Your Academic Resume.
2. One sample chapter.
3. For dissertations only: a letter from your dissertation advisor (or examiners) recommending your work for publication.

The Alexandria School Journal

Saint Cyril of Alexandria Orthodox Christian Society (SCS) is delighted to announce its academic partnership with the Alexandria School Journal (ASJ) published by The Monastery of St. Mary – Baramos and St. George Coptic Orthodox Church (Sporting), Alexandria, Egypt. The ASJ (ISSN: 1687-9902) is an Arabic academic periodical published twice a year. In 2014, SCS started publishing the ASJ in its new English edition once a year in September. The English edition of ASJ follows formal academic guidelines in accordance with modern standards and practices of American academic institutions. The ASJ style and format guide is available here.
