Applying to Holy Transfiguration College is very simple!

 

General Information and Procedure for Admission:

All you have to do is complete the online application form and submit it. Then you need to send all the required supporting documents by email to admissions@htcollege.org.  Please send one email, with the supporting documents as one single attachment.

On your application form, you need to choose the program you are applying for, either M.Th. or M.T.S.

Once all of your application materials have been received, an admission decision will be made then you will receive a letter offering you admission and listing your modules. This will usually happen within three weeks of receipt of your application. You are then required to return your acceptance form, and we will register you for the program you were admitted to once you make online payment for your tuition fees. If you are unable to pay online, you can also contact our office for payment by check.


Application Requirements for the Master of Theological Studies (MTS) – North America Only:

Admission to the MTS degree does not require a previous degree in theological studies. However, students

1- Applicants should note that all students, at the time of their admission to HTC, are required to be sufficiently fluent in the English language to be able to undertake academic studies on a graduate level. It is necessary, therefore, for those whose first language is not English to demonstrate a measure of English language ability in one of the following ways:

a.) evidence that your primary university education language of study is English; or

b.) evidence of having passed one of the TOEFL, IELTS or similar tests.

2- All applicants are required to submit a one-page statement of their reason for joining the program.

3- All applicants must submit a copy of their previous university level education, i.e. Bachelor, Master, etc. (Both transcripts and diploma copies). Undergraduate GPA must be 3.0 or higher.

4- All applicants must pay the application fee. Fees can be paid by visiting http://www.htcollege.org/tuition-and-fees/

5- All applicants must submit a 2000 word writing sample.

6- All applicants must submit two original and signed academic or professional reference letters.

Application Requirements for the Master of Theology (MTh): (enrollment for the MTh is closed for the 2016/2017 academic year, all available spaces were filled.)

1- Applicants should note that all students, at the time of their admission to HTC, are required to be sufficiently fluent in the English language to be able to undertake academic studies on a graduate level. It is necessary, therefore, for those whose first language is not English to demonstrate a measure of English language ability.

International students should prove their English language ability in one of the following ways:

a.) evidence that your primary university education language of study is English; or

b.) evidence of having passed one of the TOEFL, IELTS or similar tests; or

c.) write a statement confirming your level of interaction with English language materials including your reading and writing proficiency levels. You can indicate these profieciency levels in a written and signed statement that confirms that your English language proficiency is suitable to carry out the academic program to which you are applying.

2- All applicants are required to submit a one-page statement of their reason for joining the program.

3- All applicants must submit a copy of their previous university level education, i.e. Bachelor, Master, etc. (Both transcripts and diploma copies).

4- All applicants must pay the application fee and the library fee. Fees can be paid by visiting http://www.htcollege.org/tuition-and-fees/

5- All applicants must submit a short biography with an emphasis on their church-related activities.

6- All applicants must submit a personal photograph.
